Peter Frampton is on tour this summer celebrating the….brace yourself….35th anniversary of the record we all know and love, Frampton Comes Alive. We got the chance to speak with Peter last year and he talked about everything from his Humble Pie beginnings, to his most recent Thank You, Mr Churchill and of course, the phenomenon known as FCA…talk box and all (click below to listen). We also caught his concert over the weekend and it was a blast. He put on a great 3 hour show with the FCA first set followed by a second set of old and new stuff. If he’s coming your way, don’t miss it. Not only did we love it, but so did the rest of the crowd as you can hear in this little audio snippet recorded on our trusty TinyVox old school cassette recorder app. It pretty much sums up the feeling of that warm 2011 night or is it 1976? Hard to tell…take a listen and just try not to sing along.

Oh, and if you want to know what one record helps Peter Frampton get his own creative juices flowing, then don’t miss what he chose in his 60 Second Soundtrack.
