Singer songwriter Amos Lee seems to be traveling in the right circles these days. He’s got Lucinda Williams and Willie Nelson guesting on his upcoming record Mission Bell and he’s been captivating the crowds at the recent Austin City Limits Music Festival and Farm Aid 25. That’s a big deal for just one guy and a guitar. But then again, there was that little surprise duet with Willie that everyone is still talking about. He’ll also be part of the very cool Musicians on Call benefit in NYC this week alongside Lady Antebellum. What’s next….a stint on Idol? Though the new record won’t be ready until January ’11, Amos is giving out a sample with a free download of his tasty track “El Camino.” And if you still haven’t gotten your fill, enjoy this live performance of “Windows Are Rolled Down” captured at Farm Aid 25 (wow…25?). Oh yeah, rumor has it the guitar he’s playing belongs to some guy named Dave Matthews.
